FLORENCE A. MILANIC, (nee Calandrillo) age 89, lifelong resident of Saddle Brook passed on December 22, 2015.  Beloved Wife of the late Daniel. Loving Mother of Darlene Bowman and her husband Hank.  Dear Sister of Michael Calandrillo and his wife Enis.  Grandmother of Fred Netzer and his fiancee, Kristy Coppola, and Great Grandmother of Toby Netzer.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Florence is pre-deceased by her grand-daughter Keri Netzer and her other brothers and sisters.  Florence was a former Administrative Assistant for the NJ Superior Court in Bergen County and the owner and operator of Florence-Daniel Interiors of Midland Park.

MICHAEL D. MURCKO, of Saddle Brook on December 3, 2015. Beloved husband of Josephine. Loving father of Tracey DeCarlo and her husband Jason. Dearest grandfather of Madison and Nicholas. Dear brother of Mary Ann Ricca and her husband Louis. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Michael was a former clerk for the U.S. Post Office in Garfield. He was also a U.S. Army veteran and lifetime member of VFW Post 3484 and American Legion Post 415 of Saddle Brook.

Ronald Vladyka

RONALD S. VLADYKA, of Manahawkin and formerly of Saddle Brook, passed at home on November 28, 2015.  Beloved husband of 52 years of Marlene (nee Wingert).  Loving father of Ron Vladyka and his wife Kathy and Paul Vladyka and his wife Peggy.  Dearest grandfather of Kristen, Lauren, Ryan and McKenna.  Dear brother of Mildred Chinchar and her late husband Jack and Henry Vladyka and his wife Janice. Also survived by several many nieces and nephews.

Ronald was a resident of Saddle Brook for 62 years before moving to Manahawkin 15 years ago.  Ronald enjoyed boating, woodworking and spending time with his family.

Anna Luisi

Anna Luisi (nee Marino), Wife, Mamma and Nonna, age 70, of Saddle Brook peacefully passed away on November 18, 2015.  She was the beloved wife of Francesco and the caring sister of the late Antonietta Sicilia and her husband, Abramo, the late Filomena Sileo and her husband, Pasquale, Gina Famularo and her husband, Giacomo, and Leonard and his wife, Antonia. Anna was the devoted mother of Pasquale and his wife, Rosa, Felix and his wife, Marta, and Louisa and her husband, David. Anna was also the most loving nonna to Nicolette, Francesco, Francesco, Matthew, Marco, Giuliana, and Mario. Anna was a dear friend and second mother to many. Her love, laughter and cooking will be missed.

My best memory with my nonna is when my mom and dad dropped us off and my nonna brought me, my brother, and my sister walking around the block. After that, she brought us to eat at Burger King. Then later that night, we all watched a movie. I am going to miss her so much, but I always will have amazing memories, like watching her celebrate things with all her grandchildren. She is alive in my heart.”

BARBARA MARIE KROPINACK of Garfield passed peacefully at home on November 10, 2015.  Cherished spouse of Evalyn Berkhofer.  Dearest sister of Helen Jao and the late Manuel, and the late Raymond Kropinack.  Dear aunt of Lisa, Karen, Jennifer, Amy, Laurie, Peter and Stephen and great-aunt of 12.  Barbara was a former Gym Teacher for the Garfield Board of Education and was an Investigator for the Bergen County Board of Social Services.  Barbara loved spending time at Lake Hopatcong and was a avid Jets fan and antiques shopper.

ADRIAN PEKAAR, of Saddle Brook passed on October 19, 2015. Loving husband of Linda (nee Calvanese) and beloved Father of daughter Darlene Gonzalez and her husband Jaime, and sons Edward and Michael Pekaar.  Dear brother of Diane Bugaj and her husband Ron, and Daniel Pekaar and his wife Eileen, and brother-in-law of Carl Calvanese and his wife Annette.  Also survived by beloved nieces and nephews.  Adrian was a mechanic for JP Patti Roofing Company of Saddle Brook for over 30 years.  He was a parishioner of Holy Apostles Orthodox Church of Saddle Brook.

ANTOINETTE "TONI" "NINA" OCCHIPINTI (formerly Schauble and Vuolo) of Saddle Brook, NJ was born in Santa Croce Camerina, Sicily and raised in Paterson, NJ. She died peacefully in her home at the age of 69.  Antoinette passed on to her eternal rest on Tuesday, October 13, 2015.  She is survived by her loving children, George Schauble and his wife Pat, and John Schauble and his fiance Michelle Troisi. She is the adoring and proud grandmother of Erica and Anton Schauble. She is also survived by her dearly loved sister Patty Shupak. Antoinette was predeceased by her mother, Paola Lina (ne Scrofani) and her father, John William Occhipinti. For the last several years, Antoinette enjoyed living together with her college aged granddaughter. They spent their free time shopping, baking, and doing arts & crafts with each other.

JUNE GARGIULO (nee Gassert), age 84, of Saddle Brook, passed on Sunday, October 11, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Roy Gargiulo (July 4, 2014). Loving mother of Gina Szarejko and her husband Ron, Randy Gargiulo, Vickie Landolfi and her husband Vinnie, and Tina McDonough and her husban Michael. Dear grandmother of Dan, David, Alex, Tim, Jackie, Conor, Keira, Chris, Dana, and Alyssa. Sister of the late Eleanor. June is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gargiulo was a long time parishioner and member of the Holy Rosary Society of St. Philip the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Saddle Brook. GREGORY LEONARD DAVIS

GREGORY LEONARD DAVIS, age 61, of Morristown, NJ, formerly from Fair Lawn, NJ passed September 28, 2015 following a brief, courageous battle with cancer. Greg has been described as a kind and gentle, sincere and humble man who impacted a great many people in his too short life. He persevered despite numerous serious health issues to become a respected and valued member of his community. Greg's intelligence and sharp wit was obvious to all who knew him. He was a talented musician, a lover of all things in nature, and was especially gifted in his ability to work with dogs and cats. He was lovingly referred to as "the mayor" by the many people who recognized him for his humor and cheer, his signature panama hat, and offbeat style as he occasioned the Morristown business district. Greg is predeceased by his mother, Anne. He is survived by his father Leonard, stepmom Theresa, his sisters Valerie and Claudia, their husbands John and Walter, his niece Kelly, and his very dear friends Carol and Jim, Harvey, Lee, Joanne and John.

CARLOS A. RODAS, age 46, of Clifton passed at home on September 24, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Carlos was born in Itagui, Medellin Colombia and came to the United States in 1992. He was a machine operator for MRL Manafacturing of Haledon. Carlos is survived by his beloved wife Janeth (nee Lopez) and son Sebastian. Also his loving family, his father Otoniel Rodas, brothers Diego, Fredy and his wife Estela, and Nestor and his wife Celi, his sisters Carmen and her husband Jorge, Margarita and her husband Giovanni, and Maribel. Also his nephew Joshua and nieces Dahiana, Andrea, Shayla, Stephanie and Natalia. Carlos also has many aunts, uncles, cousins and family in Columbia. Carlos is predeceased by his Mother Elvia Rodas (nee Acosta)

Barbara Sokol

BARBARA A. SOKOL, age 70, of Leisure Knolls in Manchester, NJ and formerly of Lodi passed on September 23, 2015.  Barbara was born in Passaic, NJ and was a resident of Lodi, NJ before moving to Leisure Knolls.  She was a founding member of FOCAS, a volunteer group that serves the interests of animals. Barbara was also a receptionist and assistant at the Teterboro Animal Shelter. Barbara is survived by her beloved husband Steven Sokol and her daughter Shelly Lemley and her husband Tom.  Also her brother Joseph Takesh and his wife Diana.  Barbara is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Elizabeth Takesh.

TONY MANEVSKI, age 51, of Butler passed suddenly and unexpectedly on September 21, 2015.  Tony was born in Skopje, Macedonia and a resident of Butler, NJ.  He was a Maintenance Mechanical worker for Whippany Actuation Systems LLC (former General Electric Actuation Division, a manufacturer of aviation mechanical components. Tony is survived by his beloved wife Valentina Manevski (nee Vasilevska), three loving sons Robert, John and Tony Jr. and his parents Rade and Petra Manevski.  His brother, John Manevski, predeceased him in 1992.

ROBERT J. KOVACS, age 65, of Elmwood Park, passed away on September 12, 2015. Robert was the dear father of Jesse T. Kovacs and his wife Kristie.  Grandfather of Julia, Matthew and Alyssa Kovacs.  Brother of Dorothy Donlay and her husband Tom.   Robert previously worked as a cement truck driver for Herbert J. Hinchman Concrete Inc.  He also served as a member of the NJ National Guard.

PAUL J. ZITELLI, age 101, of Saddle Brook passed on September 5, 2015. Paul was the devoted husband of the late Alma.  Loving father of Joseph Zitelli Sr. and his wife Linda, Bernadette Zitelli, Paul Zitelli and his wife Maryhope, and Philip Zitelli.  Dear grandfather of Kimberly and Dawn Rozakis, and Joseph Jr., Adam, Grant and Gregory Zitelli.  Dearest brother of Claire Graziano, Josephine Mutter and Helen Pieper and her husband Leonard.  Paul was a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II and was a member of American Legion Post 128 and VFW Post 1429 of Teaneck. Paul was a U. S. Postal Carrier in Teaneck retiring in 1970 and a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers.  He also was a real estate salesman for All American Realty and sold many homes and properties in the Arrowhead Lake section in the Poconos.

JEAN EVANCHUCK (nee Kyenski and the former Jean Sparagoski), age 89, of Saddle Brook passed on September 4, 2015. Jean was born in Saddle Brook and lived there all of her life. She was a co-owner of The Pastrami House, Route 46 Saddle Brook, and Jean's Corner Diner, Market & Fifth Streets Saddle Brook. She also was the owner/operator of Sceps Sunoco Service Station in Paterson.

Jean is survived by her sons, Richard Sparagoski and his wife Debra, Ronald Sparagoski, and Martin Evanchuck and his wife Sharon. Loving grandmother of Kim Kovalcik-Crisanti, Mandy Sparagoski, Richard Sparagoski II and Alexandra Evanchuck. Great-grandmother of Konnor and Christian Kovalcik. Jean was predeceased by her husband Walter Sparagoski, her husband Stanley Evanchuck, and her sister Lottie Kownacki.  Jean was also predeceased by her niece, Valerie Teresa and is survived by her nieces Eileen Alberti, Christine Seffey and husband John and nephew Michael Kownacki, Jr.

JOHN PATRICK SAMPSON, age 69, of Saddle Brook passed on August 28, 2015.  John was a Mail Handler at the Kearny, NJ Branch Post Office for the United States Postal Service.  John was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War and received the National Defense Medal and the Veteran's Commendation and Service Medals.  John also served after the Vietnam War in the U.S. Army Reserves. John is survived his sisters June Albert and Dorothy Sampson of Saddle Brook.

REVEREND MICHAEL JOSEPH HAHN, age 67, of Clifton, NJ passed on August, 26th 2015. Michael was born in Newark, NJ and retired from Tenney Engineering Co. of Union, NJ. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War receiving an honorable discharge. He was a recipient of the Combat Infantry Badge, Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Medal and the Purple Heart. Michael worked in the ministry spreading God's word throughout the State of New Jersey. He is survived by his brother Henry Hahn and his wife Jane, sister-in-law Carole Hahn Hagey and her husband Richard, 5 nieces and nephews and 5 grand nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Genevieve and Frank Hahn and his brother Douglas Hahn.

DOROTHY NOONBURG (nee Fisher) of Saddle Brook passed at home on August 11, 2015.  Dorothy was the beloved wife of 57 years to Jack and the loving mother of Cheryl Morgan and her husband Dennis, Lisa Mulcahy and her husband James and Tracy Adams and her boyfriend Mark.  Dearest grandmother of Kerri and her husband Salvatore, Brendan, Timothy, Tyler, Matthew, Tabitha and Zachary.  Sister of Louis Fisher and his wife Mary, Lois Hamilton and her husband Phil and the late Joyce Grillone.  Sister-in-law of John Grillone. 

Dorothy was a registered nurse for over 40 years and Assistant Director of Nursing at Beth Israel Hospital in Passaic.  She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Elks Lodge # 1962 of Hasbrouck Heights and a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle Church of Saddle Brook.

DOROTHY MAE LIBERTY (nee Lent) of Saddle Brook passed on August 5th, 2015.  Dorothy was born May 15, 1936 in Bear Mountain, NY and resided in Saddle Brook since 1961.  She worked in retail for the past 43 years and retired from Fox's Boutique of Ridgewood, NJ.  Dorothy is survived by her beloved husband Arturo (Babe) Liberty, her daughter Debra Cannariato and son-in-law Charles, her daughter Brenda Lewis and son-in-law Thomas, her son Vincent Liberty and daughter-in-law Christine, and her granddaughters Victoria Liberty, Ashely Murga and Kelli Anne Lewis, and her great-granddaughter Natalie.

Cremation private and at the request of the family anyone wishing to make donations as a memorial to Dorothy can make them to Bergen County SPCA (bergenspca.org).

Eleanor Elizabeth Literati (nee Meyer), age 78, of Fair Lawn passed on July 19, 2015. Eleanor was born on September 3, 1936 in Newark, NJ, and grew up in Paramus.  She was the daughter of Carl and Maria Meyer, who emigrated to the U.S. from Germany after World War I.  Upon graduating from Hackensack High School in 1954, she worked at Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York and at Bendix Corporation in Teterboro.  At Bendix she met Steve Literati Jr., and in 1956 they were married and settled in Fair Lawn.

Eleanor was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Steve, who died in 2014.  She is survived by her son, Steve III, of Ridgewood, and his wife Marcia; and by her daughter Sabrina and her husband Alan Guenzel of Towaco, NJ.  She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Steve IV, Daniel, and Amanda (Literati), and Kayla and Kyra (Guenzel).

A private memorial service was held at Upper Ridgewood Community Church on July 28.  Memorial donations may be made to the American Stroke Foundation at 5916 Dearborn Street, Mission, Kansas 66202 (www.americanstroke.org).

GASPER "IKE" IACONA, age 90 of Rochelle Park passed away July 22 at home surrounded by his loving family. Gasper served in the U.S. Navy during WWII on the USS Cincinnati.  Gasper lived in Queens, NY until moving to Lodi, NJ in 1990.  He worked for the U.S. Post Office.  After retiring he volunteered at the VFW Post 3484 in Saddle Brook.  Gasper is predeceased by his wife Molly. He is survived by his daughter Debbie, his son Tom, his sisters Sally and Millie and brother Sonny. He was a loving grandpa to Melissa, Brian and Lisa and great-grandfather to Carter.

THEODORE S. KARDASH, age 86, a longtime resident of Saddle Brook passed on July 21, 2015. Ted is survived by his loving son, Theodore Kardash and many neices and nephews. Ted was a Construction Builder Superintendent and Foreman for Brick Layers and Allied Craftsman Local 4 of Hackensack, NJ. Ted was also a great baseball player for the United Athletic Club Baseball League playing with the Saddle Brook American Legion Post 415 Team.  Ted was a Staff Sergeant with the U.S. Air Force Reserves and a parishioner of Three Saints Russian Orthodox Church in Garfield.  Ted was predeceased by his sisters, Josephine Steiner, Julia Spiak, Mary Zavoda, Sadie Nogrady, Maye Knowles, Eva Prais and Olga Rey.

ROBERT LINCOLN MYERJACK, age 84, of Saddle Brook passed at home on Sunday, July 19, 2015. Mr. Myerjack has lived in Saddle Brook for the past 56 years. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during the Korean War on the USS WASP.  He is survived by his son Robert A. Myerjack and daughter Linda Davidson (Myerjack).  Robert L. was deceased by his beloved wife Jean Myerjack and his loving brother Joseph Myerjack.  Robert L. leaves behind his two loving grand-daughters Jessica, age 27, and Julia, age 27.  His grand-daughters were the love of his life.  Robert L. was a diehard Packers fan, making sure never to miss a game.  He worked for Operating Engineers Local 825 for 38 years before retiring.  He was a devoted parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle Church, which he loved deeply.

STASIA GUILTINAN, age 91, of Saddle Brook, NJ passed at her home on Friday, June 19th, 2015. Beloved wife of the late William Guiltinan. FRED VARAS SR., age 77, of Saddle Brook passed away at his home on Monday, June 8th, 2015.  Fred is the beloved husband of Adela Mercedes Varas (Armestar), loving father of Monica Varas, Lorena Varas, Fred Varas Jr. and Renato Varas and his wife Meghan.  Fred is also a very proud grandfather of Nadia Khalil, Samantha Herrera, Grecie Suarez, Natalie Alvarez, Lorena Alvarez, Jessica Varas, Jayden Varas, Cianna Varas and Cailey Varas and great-grandfather of Emma, Chris, Charlize and Mason.  Fred was pre-deceased by his parents, Antonio and Maria Varas.

Fred was born in Lima, Peru and came to the United States in 1983.  He lived in Saddle Brook, NJ for the past 10 years.  Fred was an active member of the Peruvian Parade Inc. and was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to all.

CLINTON C. WILLIAMS, a longtime resident of Hackensack, passed away April 26, 2015 at the Paramus Veterans Home at the age of 85. The son of Cappus Clinton and Edna Bennett Williams, he was born April 5, 1930 in Irvington NJ and raised in Newark NJ. He graduated from Southside HS in Newark in 1947. After HS he was a driver for United Parcel Service and Pabst Blue Ribbon.  In 1952 He joined the United States Navy, where he served as a submariner aboard the USS Sea Robin.  He was medically retired from Navy in 1959.  He worked as the night manager of the Soldiers', Sailors' and Airmen’s' Club in Manhattan for many years. In 1980 he moved to Hackensack in where he worked as a tour guide for the USS Ling Submarine Museum until retiring in 2000. He enjoyed giving tours to schoolchildren and sharing his extensive knowledge of submarines and all things military. He was an avid reader and enjoyed walking miles and miles a day.  He was a lifelong fan of the Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys. He is survived by his former wife, Jacqueline G. Williams, and three children: Clinton C. Williams Jr. of Dunellen, NJ; Colonel (Retired) Charles A. Williams of Waynesville, MO; and Christiana Williams - Douty of Minneapolis, MN. He was fondly known as Pop Pop to his four grandchildren, Chloe and Nathaniel Williams, and Stephanie and Jennifer Douty.

A memorial service with military honors will be held at Kugler Community Funeral Home 311 Fifth St. Saddle Brook, NJ on Saturday June 6, 2015 from 12:00 - 2:00 PM. Memoriall contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children’s' Hospital. 

VALENTINA VASILYEVA, age 91, of Cliffside Park, NJ passed on May 20, 2015 at Englewood Hospital, Englewood, NJ. Born in Moscow, Russia, Valentina was the beloved daughter of Alexander Epstein and Maria Nazarova.  She is the loving Mother of Irina Vasilyeva and Michael.

LINDA RABEIRO (nee Giusto), age 51, of Midland Park and formerly of Englewood Cliffs, passed suddenly and unexpectedly on May 19th, 2015. A selfless mother and devoted coach, Linda is survived by her cherished daughters, Allison Cohen, age 25; Stephanie Cohen, age 23; Kimberly Rabeiro, age 20; and Rebecca Rabeiro, age 18. Her spirit continues on through her loving parents Salvatore and June Giusto of Palm Harbor, Florida and her siblings; Vicki, Steve, Robert, Debbie, and Michael.

Leonard Francis Cremona

Leonard Francis Cremona, age 93, of Saddle Brook passed on Friday, May 1, 2015. Leonard was he beloved husband of the late Marie (nee Lanteri). Loving father of Tom, Lynn, Curt, Wendy, Lisa and Lori. Leonard is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Leonard was a United States Marine Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Saddle Brook VFW Post #3484. Mr. Cremona participated on the Mercury Space Program during the 1960's and 70's. For the past year, Leonard had a blog, historyscribbler.blogspot.com, and wrote about his love for history and personal life experiences.

John B. "JACK" Hadley, age 83, passed on April 19, 2015.  Beloved husband of Celeste Hadley.  Loving father of Jackie Hadley and John Hadley, and grandfather of Joseph and Jonathan.  Dear brother of Robert Hadley and his wife Emily.  Jack is also survived by several nephews and nieces. Jack was a graduate of the New York Military Academy and a U.S. Air Force Veteran.  He was also a member and Past Commander of American Legion Post 415 of Saddle Brook.  Jack was also a member of the American Legion Color Guard earning National Champion Recognition from 1976 through 1979.  Jack was also a  salesman for Allstate Insurance Company and recently a school crossing guard for the Elmwood Park Police Department.

KEVIN JOSEPH NAHAY, of Saddle Brook on April 15, 2015. Beloved son of Margaret and the late Michael Nahay. Loving brother of Michael R. Nahay, Margaret Ann Sheridan and her husband David, Katherine Creed, the Late Thomas J. Nahay, Geraldine Nahay-Roepke and her husband Jeffrey, and Laura Dunlap and her husband Bob. Kevin is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.  Kevin was a lifelong resident of Saddle Brook, graduate of Saddle Brook High School and Bergen Community College.  He was a former licensed Black Seal Boiler Technician and Maintenance Mechanic for the Marriott in Park Ridge.  Kevin was also a U.S. Army Veteran and member of the American Legion Post 415 of Saddle Brook and the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 15 of Bergen County.

FILIPPO AIELLO SR., age 70, of Saddle Brook passed away April 13, 2015 in Venice, FL.  Filippo was born in Bolognetta, Sicily and lived in Saddle Brook, NJ.  He was a self employed Mason Contractor.  He was pre-deceased by his parents, the late Giuseppe and Antonina Aiello, his wife, the former Maria Giammanco in 1995, his daughter Antonella in 1965 and his son, Filippo Jr. in 2001.  Filippo is survived by his two sons, Giuseppe (Joe) Aiello and his wife Marina, and Peter Aiello, and seven grandchildren, Philip, Joseph, Gabriella, Maria, Alexa, Isabella and Jovanni.  He is also survived by his sister Antonina Greco and her husband Domenico and was pre-deceased by his late sister Domenica D'Amato and her late husband Antonino.

GREGORY WALTER KORCZAK, "Goose" of Saddle Brook passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday, April 5th, 2015. Gregory is the beloved son of Zdzislaw and Theresa Korczak. He is the devoted and loving father of Gregory, Amanda and Zackary. Dearest brother of Tina Martinez and her husband Paul and uncle of Jake, Kayla and Alec. He was also the former husband of Lisa Pinto. Gregory was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle and friend and will be sorely and dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. He always had a "Big Heart". Gregory was appointed as a Special Police Officer in 2005 and was an active Dispatcher and Special Police Officer for the Saddle Brook Police Department. He was also a Saddle Brook Recreation Junior Falcon Football coach, girls basketball coach and Saddle Brook High School wrestling coach.

Jeanette Marie Hall (nee Mandoukas) of Saddle Brook passed on March 31, 2015.  Born in Brooklyn, NY, Jeanette lived in Saddle Brook all of her life.  She was a former customer service representative for Landauer Metropolitan Inc. in Mount Vernon, NY for many years.  Jeanette was a former member of the Saddle Brook Planning Board and was one of the original founding members of SB High School Project Graduation.  Beloved daughter of the late John and Marie Mandoukas and dear sister of the late Maureen Mandoukas.  Jeanette is survived by her loving daughters, Kristin and Danielle and her son-in-laws, Robert Parisi and Matt Stevens, dearest grand-daughters Anjelica, Ave and Liliana Parisi, and her sister Diane Mandoukas.

JEROME (JERRY) J. STUART, age 56 of Saddle Brook passed on Monday, March 2nd, 2015.  Jerry was the beloved husband of Catherine, loving father of Sarah and Molly and dearest grandfather of Lexi Marie Dobish and Brooke Noelle Cannici.  Jerry is also survived by his mother, Helen Stuart, his brother Stephen Stuart and sisters, Nancy Brouca, Linda Saccomondo, Ellen Ames, Jeannie Stuart and Ann Kurpick.  Jerry was a Master Plumber and was a self employed owner and operator of Jerome J. Stuart Plumbing and Heating Company of Saddle Brook for many years.  Jerry was also a Sergeant in the United States Air Force and Honorably Discharged in 1988.

THOMAS J. MAGANS, age 89 of Saddle Brook, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Joan (nee Raimondi). Loving father of Robert Egbert and his wife Linda, Michael Egbert and his wife Ghada, and the late Edward Egbert. Dear grandfather of Kelly Macaulay, Michael, Robert III and Daniel Egbert, and Jillian Slater. Dearest Brother of Marian Magans of Saddle Brook and the late George and John Magans. Thomas is also survived by his great nephew Scott Fudger. Thomas was meat butcher and worked for and co-owned the former Magans Market, a local family owned supermarket, on Market Street in Saddle Brook for many years. He loved gardening, and after retirement, sold his home grown flowers. He was an all-star baseball athlete in high school, and was recruited by the Philadelphia Phillies. Thomas was also a United States Army Veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

MARILYN M. DESANTIS, age 69, of Garfield passed away at home on Saturday, February 14th, 2015. Eliasen of Staten Island, NY; son, Kevin McKenna and wife, Mary, of Highland Lakes, NJ; son, Sean McKenna and wife, Linda, of Denville, NJ; and daughter, Donna Vogel and husband, Joseph, of Milford, PA.  Mary was predeceased by her daughter Anne McKenna.  Mary also has 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  Mary always had a smile and was a very giving and caring person who did not like any recognition for her generosity.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. 

Funeral services from Kugler Community Home For Funerals, 311 Fifth Street, Saddle Brook, NJ on Friday, February 6th with visiting hours from 9am to 11am and prayer services to begin at 11am. HELEN KOTWICA (nee Wolosz), age 93, of Garfield passed January 22nd, 2015. Helen was born in Passaic and was a life long resident of Garfield.  Helen was predeceased by her beloved husband Kasimer. Helen is survived by her daughters, Carole Decker and Joan McManus. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeff, Lori, Sean, Shannon, Charity, and Abby, and great-grandchildren Gael, Adrian and Jaden. She is also survived by her dear sister, Ann Karpinchik and her husband Felix. Helen was an independent-minded person who enjoyed going to Atlantic City. She loved shopping for gifts for her family and taking her grandchildren to the carousel at the mall. Helen was an accomplished knitter and loved crafting sweaters.

Visiting hours 10am to 12:30 and interment to immediately follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery in Lodi, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the charity of your choice.

MISTRETTA Sr., age 86, of Saddle Brook passed away January 22, 2015.  John was born in New York City and lived in Saddle Brook since 1963.  He was an Electrical Engineer and worked for Burns & Roe Engineers of Oradell, NJ as well as being an independent consultant on many projects.  John is survived by his beloved wife Dolores, his loving son John Mistretta Jr. and his wife Valerie, and his adored grandchildren John P. III and Ryan James.

David Wolf - Kugler Funeral Home

DAVID "WOLFIE" WOLF, age 52 tragically passed on December 17, 2014 in Florida. David lived in Port Orange Florida, for the last seven years and before that lived in Rockaway New Jersey for nine years and Saddle Brook for most of his life. David is survived by his beloved wife Vickie, his sisters Susan Sica of Valrico Florida, and Linda Wolf of Garfield NJ. Also survived by his niece Kristen Sommer. David was the owner of Haledon Cycle of Saddle Brook and was a custom motorcycle builder and mechanic. David was a very outgoing and fun loving wonderful person. He will be sorely missed by his many friends and family.

Richard Larkin - Kugler Funeral Home
RICHARD LARKIN, on December 31, 2014.  Born in NYC, Rich lived in Saddle Brook for 57 years before moving to Pompton Lakes 8 years ago. He is predeceased by his parents Irving and Dorothy (Costello). Rich is survived by his brothers Steven and his wife Margo of Cape Coral, FL, Raymond of California, and his sister Denise Smith and her husband Brian of Rochelle Park.  Also survived by his nephews Derrek and Jason Larkin, Connor Smith, and niece Breanne Smith Pellicano.  Rich worked for Merrill Lynch in Paramus and the U.S. Post Office in South Hackensack.  He was a very gifted athlete, a left hand pitcher, and played in the semi-pro Met league for the Ridgewood Barons.
