Abel Herrera Cardoso

ABEL HERRERA CARDOSO, age 59, passed suddenly and unexpectedly on February 3, 2025.

Abel is the beloved husband of Ana Herrera, Loving father of Anabel Angon, Alejandra Herrera, and Erik Herrera.
Grandfather of Erika, Yaya, Kaily, Yayito, Erikin, Abel, Kassandra, Ana, Derik, Scarlett, Danny, Ari, and Bryanna.
Son of Antero y Severiana Herrera.
Also survived by his son in law Yayo and Carlos and daughter in law Alma. The Herrera Cardoso, Jimenez Lopez, and Jimenez Sanchez family.

Abel was a Cabinet Refinisher and worked all his life, even after surviving covid he still find a way to work on what he loves the most. He is what you defined what workaholic despite doctors telling him that he was not able to work due to covid deteriorating his health, he still went to work. Anyone that knew him know what a hardworking man, he was for his family especially for his wife.

Abel was a loving person, always giving a hand to whom ever needed one. He would talk with you for hours and hours. Abel would be a person that would make you laugh and joke around with anyone about anything. I know in fact all you guys have that one memory where he once made you smile or laugh or both. He was the joy in the room. Always gave you that laughter when you most needed it. I could keep going and talk more about Abel (husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle etc…) but it would be a never ending stories about him.

Funeral services from Kugler Community Home For Funerals 311 5th Street Saddle Brook, NJ. Visiting hours at funeral home on Friday February 7, 2025 from 6-9pm. Funeral mass to be held on Saturday February 8, 2025 at 10am at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church 681 Main Street Paterson, NJ. Cremation to follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Paterson, NJ.
