Alice E. Gradzki

ALICE E. GRADZKI, (nee Gibbons) age 92 of Pompton Plains, NJ and formerly of Saddle Brook, NJ, passed away after a short illness on September 7, 2021. 
Alice was married to the late Joseph S Gradzki for 67 years and they were parents to 13 children, Joseph S. Gradzki Jr. (Rosemary), Marlene Lewis (Michael), Rickard Gradzki (the late Lorna), Patricia Homsany (George), Lawrence Gradzki (Katherine), Geriann Simoldoni (Robert), Jeffrey Gradzki (Maria), Bruce Gradzki (Sophie), Sharon Roberts (Darnell), Paul Gradzki (Marissa), Alan Gradzki and the late Gerard and LeAnn Gradzki. She is also survived by her brother James Gibbons. Alice has 28 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
 
Alice, in partnership with her late husband, Joe, was the owner and operator of Gradzki Liquors in Saddle Brook for over 40 years. 
Alice loved needlework and was an expert crocheter, gifting baby sweaters and blankets to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  
Alice and Joe enjoyed many years of traveling with the highlight of their trip to Rome, meeting Pope John Paul II. They spent their retirement winters in Vero Beach, FL and were members of the Polish-American Club. 
Alice was a strong, resilient woman who faced life's challenges with courage and grace. She will be sadly missed by her loving family. 

Viewing will be held at Kugler Community Home For Funerals , 311 Fifth Street, Saddle Brook, NJ on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 8:30-10:30 AM. Funeral Mass to immediately follow at St. Philip The Apostle RCC at 11 AM. Interment in St. Michaels Cemetery, South Hackensack. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Josephs Health Foundation in Paterson, in Alices name.
