Janet Mary Esser

JANET MARY ESSER, July 6, 1963 - May 11, 2022 It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Janet Esser on May 11, 2022, at the age of 58 due to an unfortunate accident which took her home to Heaven. Born in Hackensack, she was a longtime resident of Saddle Brook before moving to Yulee, FL. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her late parents, Sara and Peter R. Esser; her dear sisters Christine Davis (Doug) of Woodcliff Lake and Catherine Kimberly (Travis) of Florida; her brothers, Joseph Esser (Lois) of North Carolina, Paul Esser (Nina) of Saddle Brook, and late Peter R. Esser of Saddle Brook; her loving children Alicia Mantzouranis of North Arlington and Kristie Mantzouranis (fiance Frank Santolla) of Rutherford; her supportive partner Dale Carter; and her adorable kitties Sneakers and Morris. Janet loved being active in her daughters upbringing by coaching Softball and leading her Girl Scout troop, especially on camping weekends. She will be remembered for her contagious laughter, incredible sense of humor, and her playful, energetic spirit, which she brought to every relationship. 
Funeral services and visitation will be held at Kugler Funeral Home, 311 N 5th St Saddle Brook, NJ, on Sunday May 15th from 4:00-8:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held at Saint Philip The Apostle Church, 488 Saddle River Rd. Saddle Brook, NJ, at 9:30 AM Monday May 16th. Interment to immediately follow in George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery in Paramus, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, Janet would have certainly appreciated a donation to Friends of Animals organization.
