Peter Mlynaryk

PETER MLYNARYK, age 90, of Garfield NJ passed away on February 7, 2022. Peter was a loving husband to Irene Mlynaryk (nee Basalyga). A father of Mary Pettway and Mark Mlynaryk and beloved grandfather of the late Jonathan Kowalczyk and  Eriq Tyler Pettway. 
Peter was predeceased by his siblings Nasta, Paula, Stefan, Jan, Joanna and Anna. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Peter was born in Zdynia, Poland and came to the United States in 1962 to the Bronx before moving to Garfield in 1974. Peter worked at the Continental Can Company in Passaic as a  Machine Operator for many years. He loved working on his home and cars and always had a new project that he was working on in his garage. Peter enjoyed welcoming his family and friends to come over and always cherished their time together.

Services from Kugler Community Home For Funerals, Saddle Brook NJ. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 4-8pm with parastas to begin at 7pm. A funeral service will be held at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Church in Passaic on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 9:30am. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
