Robert P. Bosland

ROBERT P. BOSLAND, beloved husband of Janet Bosland passed away on May 7, 2021. He was 91. Born February 9, 1930 in Paterson, NJ to Eleanor and Robert Bosland. He was raised in Fair Lawn, NJ, went to Fair Lawn High School and met Janet on a blind date set up by mutual high school friends.  They married in 1955 and moved to Saddle Brook, NJ where they raised their three children Robert, Lori, and Lynn.  Bob worked as a land surveyor with C.S. Briggs Engineering of Ridgewood for over 40 years. He eventually become owner of the company which he later relocated to Midland Park, NJ.
œBoz as he was known to his friends, will always be remembered as a sweet, kind man with an incredibly witty sense of humor. He was loved by all, no one could have asked for a better husband, father or friend. He was an avid golfer and fisherman and loved his NY Mets and NY Football Giants.

Robert is survived by his wife Janet, his son Robert S. Bosland and his wife Catherine, daughter Lori Charamis and her husband Larry, and daughter Lynn Fecci and her husband Robert. He was a dear grandfather to Kelli Bosland, John Bosland, Kristen Charamis, Nicholas Charamis and his wife Rachel, Christopher Fecci, Melissa Fecci, and Samantha Fecci, and great grandfather of Rylan Charamis. He was predeceased by his sister Muriel Hamelink.

A private funeral service will be from Kugler Community Home for Funerals, 311 Fifth St. Saddle Brook, NJ. 
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Grace Church in Ridgewood, 340 Meadowbrook Ave. on Tuesday May 11, 2021 at 1:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Alzheimers Association or Grace Church in Roberts name.
