Steven Desessa

STEVEN DeSESSA died in Sussex County, NJ on April 22, 2020. He was born in Jersey City, NJ on December 31, 1954. He was raised in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ by his parents Ben and Dorothy DeSessa, along with his two older brothers Christopher and Bernie. He was married to his loving wife, Kathleen Barcelona, for 44 years. They have three amazing children: Kristine, Tony, and Michael. They have seven grandchildren: Katerina, Owen, Diego, Sofia, Madison, Alex, and Wesley. Steve had an incredible bond with his oldest grandchild, Katerina. Steve served in the United States Air Force from 1979-1986 at Bergstrom AFB in Texas and Kadena AFB in Okinawa, Japan. After serving his country, Steve settled back in his hometown of H.H. Steve then worked as a construction laborer until he retired at age 55. He lived the rest of his days in Sussex County, NJ. Steve had a top notch man cave filled with his vast movie collection. He was a life long Cincinnati Reds and Star Trek fan. A unique and much loved man gone too soon.
